Black Walnut Botanical Conference

Great Lakes Herb Faire

The weekend includes brilliant teachers, classes for all levels, fun evening activities, music and dance, a wonderful kids' program, creative vendors and, of course, phenomenal food. The grounds are gorgeous and expansive, encompassing several diverse ecosystems and a plethora of wild herbs, with connections to local parks and trails.

Mycelium Mysteries: A Women’s Mushroom Conference

September 22 – 24, 2023 | Almond, WI

This weekend-long women's mushroom conference will focus on understanding fungi as the Grandmothers of our ecosystems. Silently shaping the soil beneath our feet, fungi are key players in Earth's health and the trajectory of human culture around the globe. Still, we find ourselves in a time where the study of fungi is considered to be a neglected megascience, their mycelium, a mystery. It is our goal to help modern women connect with the roles and wisdom of our female ancestors who always maintained and shared their visceral understanding of the Fungal Queendom.

American Herbalists Guild Symposium

October 12 – 16, 2023 | Granby, CO

The 34th AHG Symposium is an inspiring celebration of the many herbal lineages that have shaped the practice of herbalism, including 32 place and culture-based sessions. Contemporary herbal practice is rooted in the heritage of herbal traditions drawn from diverse bioregions and sociocultural streams, from Hoodoo rootwork to the Pueblo preparations of the southwest U.S. to Daodi processing methods.

Reading the Body Immersion

The plants and her clients are her revered teachers. She is retired from active practice, focusing now on teaching and learning how to play.
